These 3 stars near the trapezium are widely spaced, and appear as bright or brighter than the trapezium’s C star.

Yesss!!!–a real learning experience. I was looking (through illegal amounts of streetlight-
there are SIX streetlights in front of my house)
at this a couple of nights ago. (4″ Unitron/20mm obj.) What a lovely sight; and was thinking to sketch it. Having seen your work gives both knowledge that it CAN be done beautifully and
apowerful jostle to do so.
