Lambda Arietis (Herschel 12)


October 18, 2006: To help provide a consistent style for my double star sketches, the above sketch is a digital update to the original sketch.

Observation Notes:

The primary star was yellowish with a blueish secondary. They made a good pair at low power (38X). The 240X view wasn’t as striking. I estimated PA at 50° and separation at 50″. Listed values from the AL double star list are 46° and 37″.
