Under less than ideal conditions, general elongation and structure were difficult to discern. The view was still stunning as the two galaxies fit nicely in the 24 arcminute wide view. Eric Graff <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cloudynights.com\/ubbthreads\/showthreaded.php\/Cat\/0\/Number\/1533114\/page\/0\/view\/collapsed\/sb\/5\/o\/all\/vc\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">observed and sketched<\/a> this pair about the same time, but in a wider field.<\/p>\n<p><b>Object Information<\/b><\/p>\n<p>NGC 3166 and 3169 were discovered in 1783 by F.W.
