Observation Notes:<\/b><\/p>\n

As I was scouting out double stars late into the night, I noticed that the seeing had suddenly settled and become very nice. I swept over to Uranus and got a very smooth view. The edges of the small dot were smooth and gave an excellent impression of a distant, light blue marble. It was so steady, I tried hard to look for Oberon or Titania. Hah! Even if I could, transparency was pretty crummy in that part of the sky. During the observation, what I think was a geosynchronous satellite moved west to east very slowly and passed about 20″ south of Uranus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
